Weekly gratitude post #13.

I’ve just returned from the ice rink and I’m currently snuggled up in my winter blanket, eating a delicious fruit salad and watching The Muppet Christmas Carol, which is my favourite rendition of The Christmas Carol so I’m as happy as a clam. This has been a really wonderful, festive weekend. I stayed out till the wee hours of Saturday with my friends, then ran some errands in the morning and baked away the rest of the day. And today was quite similar to yesterday, only with more skating. ♥ I can hardly imagine a better-spent advent weekend.

Taking photos at 2 am is always a great idea! 😛
This week I’ve been grateful for:
1. All the family recipes for Christmas sweets. I love each and every single one of them and I feel like they are something of a tie to the past. We always make my grandma and grandpa’s favourite sweets and it is a way for us to keep their memory alive at this magical time of the year.

2. Weekends such as this one, filled with family, friends, and things I love to do.

3. All the people who smiled at me for no reason at all this week.
What’s on your list this week?

Oh and by the way: if you haven’t seen The Muppet Christmas Carol yet, it’s an absolute must! It’s the most adorable, touching version of the story ever.
